Christmas decorations not allowed in some areas of hospital

Manx Care says it's to protect people from infection

Noble's Hospital has restricted the use of Christmas trees, tinsel and lights in clinical areas.

Manx Care says the same decision was taken last year because these items cannot be properly decontaminated.

The health body added it's also to protect people from the risk of infections such as Strep A, Influenza, Norovirus, Covid, C.diff and many other organisms that can compromise safety and care.
