The possibility of there being women bishops in the Isle of Man is closer to becoming a reality.
The consecration of female bishops was approved by the General Synod last year, but needs to be approved separately by the Manx Synod.
It met last night, the first step towards ratification
Speaking after the meeting, Bishop Robert Paterson explained what would happen next:
