Michael Morrison was dismissed on Monday
It’s believed the sacked clerk of Onchan Commissioners has been asked to accept a pay settlement and make a public statement saying he’s resigned.
Michael Morrison has declined the offer, understood to be made by senior board members, and vowed to clear his name
He was removed from his post on Monday shortly after four of the seven board members attended an extraordinary general meeting.
Mr Morrison, who is seeking legal advice, says he’s still waiting to hear from the local authority why he’s been dismissed.
