Warnings of dangers posed particularly by vessels
The Isle of Man Coastguard has given a stark warning for people not to swim in the Island's harbours or near piers.
It follows a number of reports of teenagers jumping from harbour walls into the water.
Coastguard teams have been visiting the Island's schools in recent weeks to issue advice ahead of the summer holidays.
Operations Officer Andy Mulhern told Manx Radio there are some real dangers that people need to be aware of:
