Warning about climbing on unstable sand cliffs
Coastguard teams from Peel and Ramsey were called out to Glen Wyllin on Sunday night after a casualty became stuck on a cliff.
A technician was lowered from the clifftop to secure the individual, who was lowered down to the beach around 70 ft below and given safety advice about climbing in the area.
The coastguard is reminding people of the dangers posed by sand cliffs due to erosion and their unstable nature.
