Time to end dispute MHK told
An Onchan commissioner has called on an MHK to give up what he claims is a prolonged and pointless campaign against them.
The authority is dealing with extensive regular correspondence from David Quirk over matters relating to the awarding of an Onchan park contract in 2010.
An advice note issued by the Department of Infrastructure, which reviewed the matter, is at the centre of the dispute.
The note found shortcomings in the way a previous board acted at the time - but the DoI has since admitted it is flawed.
Rob Callister says the whole affair is proving costly and achieving nothing.
