Service said to be 'underfunded for years'
The chair of a Tynwald committee which has looked at the Island's mental health service is pleased politicians have backed its call for change.
Members unanimously supported the committee's report after it was debated during the January sitting of the court earlier this week.
Some also spoke of how the service had been underfunded for years.
The report's recommendations include better support for carers, a more user-friendly complaint system and better communication with patients and their families.
David Cretney MLC says it's vital to get things right for both patients and staff.
