Beach Buddies target public areas in the west
The coast, footpaths and public areas in the west of the Island will be tidied today as Beach Buddies head to Peel.
The charity is holding a community clean-up from 10.30am, targeting beaches in the town, as well as other areas.
A similar event was held in Douglas last weekend, resulting in a large quantity of rubbish being collected.
Those interested in taking part can meet at the site of the former swimming pool at the northern end of the promenade.
