Community PCs working in schools to tackle anti-social issues

'Criticial' that people feel able to speak to local officers

Two full time community police officers are working in schools in the west to tackle issues including drugs and knife crime.

The Western Neighbourhood Policing Team says it’s ‘critical’ that people feel able to speak to their local officers.

Schools across the Island are currently on summer holidays – leading to concerns about a potential spike in anti-social behaviour.
