Patrols will prosecute offenders say police
Police fear they are 'not getting the message through' about road safety.
A spate of motoring offences this week has prompted complaints from the force on social media.
In the past few days, the Roads Policing Unit says it's encountered speeders, dangerous drivers and people using mobile phones at the wheel.
Drivers are being warned patrols will continue to catch and prosecute offenders.
Particular concern has been raised about speeding and overtaking on Richmond Hill, where a van driver was stopped after overtaking a police officer on double white lines.
In a separate incident, a horse and rider were almost hit by a driver attempting to squeeze past on a narrow road.
The force says its message remains the same: take your time and respect other road users.
