Ten day walkout gets underway
Bus drivers will be down on picket lines around the Island today as ten days of strike action gets underway.
Unite the union members voted to take industrial action following a dispute over pay and contractual issues.
Services will be running on a contingency timetable.

Most main routes will operate on a limited, hourly service with a similar timetable for buses to Noble's Hospital.
Bus Vannin says the schedule could change, depending on how many drivers are available.
Come next week, there will be no specific school services; however, pupils will be able to travel on all available buses using their Go Cards.
The MER trams are being brought into service from Monday, as an alternative.
