Chief Minister not ruling out changes to Department of Home Affairs
The Chief Minister says a close look at the future format of the Department of Home Affairs is just part of the assessing of costs right across government.
Howard Quayle adds that he has given ground in the face of the desires of Tynwald members, in certain regards.
An update on Tynwald's commitment to introduce a minister responsible for justice was sought at this month's sitting.
Mr Quayle's comments followed a question by former Home Affairs Minister, Juan Watterson, as to the future of that Department:
RPU will be 'out in force' to stop drink and drug drivers
Ramsey Commissioners to spend more than £8k on deckchairs and storage unit
How to spot the signs of domestic and elder abuse this Christmas
Police appeal to parents after party of up to 50 young people 'becomes an issue'
