Idea shouldn't be ruled out says new commissioner
The newest member of Port St Mary Commissioners says the village shouldn't rule out the idea of a marina being revisited.
Norman McGregor Edwards has a reasonable mandate from the public, after securing 277 of the 446 votes in a three-way contest, which had a 28.8% turnout.
Marinas are of course a key part of Douglas and Peel - could Port St Mary one day follow suit?
Mr McGregor Edwards, who was elected on Friday (24), will serve on the board until 2020.
