Covid-19 immunity may not last warns Ashford

Tests show antibodies don't necessarily last long

The health minister says it appears those who've had Covid-19 may not build a long-term immunity to the virus.

It's as reports on cases of reinfection have emerged across the globe.

Government hopes to have published a full antibody testing report by the end of this year, with 5,000 of the tests administered so far.

Officials hope it will show how widespread the virus was on Island, with early findings showing up to 2,500 people may have had it.
