Moorhouse to question Enterprise Minister
An MHK says issues with credit cards are becoming 'more and more problematic'.
In Tynwald next week Jason Moorhouse is set to ask the Minister for Enterprise to make a statement on the availability of credit cards for small business owners and other Island residents.
In November Tesco withdrew its credit card services for Manx residents.
Last week Barclaycard had to apologise after a message telling customers on the Island their cards would be cancelled shortly was sent by mistake.
But the Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK says the availability of credit cards has been a concern for a number of years:
