24-year-old appears at Douglas Courthouse
A Crosby man will appear in court again later this month over allegations he spat at ambulance workers and headbutted a police officer.
Twenty-four-year-old Jason Quayle, of Reayrt ny Chrink, appeared at Douglas Courthouse.
He hasn't yet entered pleas to two allegations of assaulting police officers, possessing cannabis and using threatening behaviour.
The court heard staff at Shoprite, in Michael Street in Peel, called police on 5 April after refusing to serve him alcohol.
Mr Quayle was said to be abusive and aggressive and police arrested him after he returned to the store hours later.
As he was being taken into custody he's accused of butting a police officer with the back of his head and spitting at paramedics.
At Police Headquarters officers allegedly found a small quantity of cannabis - Mr Quayle also alleged spat in an officer's face.
Magistrates granted bail and he's next due to appear on 28 April.
