Swimmer finishes semi-final in sixth position
Commonwealth Games semi-finalist Laura Kinley hopes she can inspire the next generation of athletes.
The swimmer held her own in a field of international elite swimmers during the Women's 50m Breaststroke semi-finals this evening at the Birmingham Games.
Laura recorded a time of 32.47s and placed sixth in her race. Of the sixteen semifinalists, she ranked twelfth.
It means she won't progress to the event final.
