Unsolicited callers have been targeting Manx residents
Manx residents are being warned of scammers claiming to be able to help people recover compensation from car finance agreements.
The Cyber Security Centre for the Isle of Man has received reports of unsolicited phone calls targeting locals.
The callers claim individuals may be entitled to refunds, but the centre warns this is a phishing scam.
Anyone receiving such a call is urged not to share personal or banking information, end the call if you feel uncomfortable, and contact the Cyber Security Centre for advice.
