Property developer looking to build on vacant land near Balthane Park
Planning permission is being sought by Dandara Commercial Limited to build 26 industrial, storage and distribution units on vacant land between the new by-pass road and Balthane Park.
In the application, Dandara says the Glashen Stream passes through but is not close to the site and will not be impacted by construction.
The company also says it will attach bat and bird boxes to the building and create 57 external parking spaces.
It adds there's a strong demand for such industrial and storage units on the Island.
