DASH has hope for future after private sector backing

The future of the Drug Advice Service and Helpline is looking more secure after it received backing from two well-known Island-based businesses.

In March this year, DASH faced closure after its government funding was cut.

But now Pokerstars and Microgaming, two of the Island’s largest e-gaming companies, have stepped in as sponsors.

The news was announced yesterday, as DASH released its annual report.

Director of DASH Shelly Stanley says the move gives her hope for the future
