The UK Deputy Prime Minister is the new member of UK cabinet responsible for the Isle of Man.
David Lammy has been appointed by Sir Keir Starmer to the post of Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice.
The role includes managing the UK's relations with the Crown Dependencies.
He takes over from Shabana Mahmood.
It follows a ministerial reshuffle after Angela Rayner resigned on Friday morning (5 September) after it was found she had breached the ministerial code.
