
A Peel commissioner says the regeneration of the market place will boost the town's economy.
Plans have been submitted to reconstruct the highway and footpaths, as well as improving the street lighting and signage in the area.
The work will be funded by the government's Regeneration Scheme and aims to improve access between areas in the town.
