Entries open on the iomcyclefest.com website

Manx star Davy Knowles is to headline the music line-up at Cyclefest in the grounds of Milntown next May.

Now based in Chicago, he recently released his third studio album called "Three Miles from Avalon" and is to embark on a European tour in 2017.

A packed line-up of family entertainment was also announced at last night's launch at Noa Bakehouse - that will be led by the world famous Titan the Robot.

Away from Titan the Robot - a street velodrome will be in Ramsey town centre for the community day on Friday 12th May which includes the Sure Schools Challenge and The Big Ride with Rebecca House.

On Saturday, the Storm the Tower hill climb moves to the morning with the Battle of Sky Hill Mountain Bike race in the afternoon.

The 85mile Gran Fondo on Sunday has three King of the Mountain ascents including the notorious Injebrek - there's also a Piccola Fondo over a 24 mile route across the northern plains.

Entries are now open on the iomcyclefest.com website where you can also buy wristbands for the food and music festival at Milntown.
