Deadline for small aircraft and drone safety consultation

IOM Civil Aviation Administration to update legislation

There's less than a week to go to have your say on the Island's aircraft safety - including the use of drones.

The consultation on future small unmanned aircraft safety legislation - closes for submissions on Monday (29 July).

The Isle of Man Civil Aviation Administration is 'replacing and updating elements of the existing aviation safety legislation.'

It covers the aspects which relate to the use of drones.

In the Isle of Man, an exclusion zone of 5km around the airport was introduced at the beginning of January.
