Phenomenon will be visible in Australia, Africa as well as Europe
A 'totally eclipsed' moon should be visible on Sunday evening, if the skies are clear.
The moon will rise totally eclipsed and be 'deep red' in colour before gradually changing back to the normal silver or white.
Weather-dependent, the phenomenon could be seen as far as Australia, Africa as well as Europe.
Local astronomer Howard Parkin says the best time to look to the skies would be around 7.45pm and towards the east:
