Conditions better at Cronk y Voddy
The much-anticipated Cronk y Voddy ploughing match, postponed from yesterday, gets underway this morning at Ballagyr Farm, outside Peel.
Both horses and tractors will be in action from 10.30am through until 3.15pm.
The event is free to attend, and also features the world-renowned Cronk y Voddy refreshment tent - serving hot sausage and bacon baps along with homemade cakes and scones, for those who need sustenance before their 'ploughman's lunch'.
All proceeds will go to charity.
