Questions after issues found with sites in England
The Department of Education, Sport and Culture says it isn't aware of any schools on the Island that were made using reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete (RAAC).
It comes after more than a hundred schools in England have been ordered to close buildings made using the concrete - which is prone to collapse.
RAAC is a type of building material used for walls as well as roofs.
With the school term due to start next week, it's feared thousands of children in England could miss the start of the academic year and be forced back into remote learning.
MHK Jason Moorhouse says he's submitted two Tynwald questions for written answer regarding this matter.
