MOD to deal with WW2 shells in garden
Police are still at the scene in Willaston where a couple of old small World War Two shells were discovered in a back garden yesterday.
They will be removed later today by personnel from the Ministry of Defence who are coming to the Island.
The find was made at a property on Watterson Lane which is being renovated along with neighbouring houses.
A small section of Fenella Avenue between Watterson Lane and Keppel Road is closed.
Police say there is no danger to the public in the area.
