DHSC members were made out to be 'witches who conspired to cause harm'

Joney Faragher responds to report publication

Three DHSC members were made out to be "witches" who "conspired to cause harm" following the sacking of Rob Callister as health minister last year.

That's the view of one of them - Douglas East MHK Joney Faragher - who has taken to social media following the publication of an investigation into his dismissal; it's ruled he must apologise for his 'inappropriate conduct'.

Ms Faragher has described the last few months as "very difficult" after attempting to resign from her role in Health and Social Care after Mr Callister said to her in a meeting: "I don't want to lose my temper today."

Rushen MHK Michelle Haywood corroborated her account describing the comment as “extremely intimidating”.

The report concludes the incident 'was an affront to Ms Faragher’s dignity at work.'
