Green Party says the company has made a practical choice
The Steam Packet's chosen engine for its new vessel 'Manxman' is the most sustainable choice considering its specific requirements.
That's from the leader of the Isle of Man's Green Party.
It's after concerns were raised that a diesel engine wasn't an environmentally conscious decision.
However Andrew Langan-Newton says it's a good comprimise given technological restrictions:
