Prices at EVF fall as RAC recommends reduction
There could be further respite for motorists from high diesel prices in the coming weeks.
That's the view of the RAC in the UK which is calling on retailers to pass on a sharp reduction in the wholesale price to drivers and businesses.
The wholesale price of diesel has moved to within 3.6 pence of petrol, yet the price at the pumps still shows a greater differential.
Diesel prices in the Isle of Man have been moving down lately, with EVF garages now charging £1.60 point 9 pence, compared to £1.48 point 9. for petrol.
