More than 80 percent of medication isn't paid for
The Isle of Man needs to have a discussion about eligibility for free prescriptions, according to the treasury minister.
At the moment you can be exempt for a number of reasons, including if you are of retirement age, under 16 or have had a baby in the past 12 months.

Dr Alex Allinson now wants Tynwald to reassess who can get free prescriptions, what they cost and also how to manage wastage.
He says the exemptions mean a huge proportion of people don't have to pay for their medication:
