
Police in the South of the Island are appealing for information after a dog killed chickens in an early-morning attack.
The dog, a white springer spaniel with a black patch on its back, was spotted in the garden of a house on Main Road in Colby between 7 and 7.30 this morning.
It’s the second time the dog’s been seen in the garden and police say it killed six chickens, which were family pets.
