Dog injured in attack on Castletown beach

Schnoodle attacked yesterday afternoon

Police are appealing for information after a dog was attacked on Castletown beach.

The schnoodle sustained injuries in the attack between 2.45pm and 3pm yesterday.

Officers say the dog responsible for causing the injuries was a sandy coloured whippet or greyhound-type dog, and was off the lead.

Witnesses are urged to contact Police Headquarters on 631212, or Castletown Police Station on 822222.
