Plucky pup outswims lifeboat
A small Spaniel got into difficulties in the sea this afternoon (Wednesday), prompting Port St Mary lifeboat to be called out.
The dog was in the village harbour and, due to an offshore wind, ended up being blown out towards Gansey.
A woman wearing a lifebelt tried to rescue the dog who managed to reach the shore safely before the inshore rescue boat, Spirit of Leicester, arrived.
