Pleas from Manx Wildlife Trust
Don't disturb seal pups!
That's the message from the Manx Wildlife Trust, as we enter peak breeding season for the Island's population of Grey seals.
The first pup has already been recorded on their stronghold on the Calf of Man - and numbers are being carefully monitored by the MWT.
Marine Officer Lara Howe says occasionally pups can be found, seemingly abandoned, around the Island's coastline.
But she says members of the public shouldn't disturb them, as they will probably be fine (and can give you a nasty bite).
You can hear more from Lara on in the first in a new series of Mannin the Wild this Thursday evening just after 6pm.
