A Douglas councillor is calling on other local authorities to do more with regard to social housing amid the cost-of-living crisis.
Speaking on Manx Radio Breakfast chair of the Housing and Property Committee Devon Watson said social housing is one of the most 'impactful anti-poverty programmes':
As part of further support alongside government aid Douglas Borough Council is hosting a workshop with various businesses and charities offering advice.
The workshop is scheduled to run between 2pm and 8pm, at Douglas Town Hall, today (20 October).
Mr Watson reiterated the event is open to all Manx residents and not just those living in the Island's capital.
