One of Douglas Central's MHKs has announced their plans to stand for re-election in September.

Ann Corlett has represented the constituency since 2016.

If elected, she says she'll ensure that the people of our Island are at the heart of decision-making.

Ann says: "We are living in unpredictable times, and I understand the uncertainty and frustration that many people are feeling.

"At times like these, experience, determination, and a willingness to take on the challenges ahead are more important than ever."

Also standing in Douglas Central are Peter Shimmin, Chris Thomas and Devon Watson.

The General Election is taking place on Thursday 24 September.
