Organisers hope to hold the event next year instead
An event in Douglas celebrating the last day of the Celtic year has been called off.
Oie Houney was due to take place on Saturday 24 October on North Quay and would have been celebrating the change of the seasons with fire and folklore.
Following discussions with Douglas City Council though, the organisers say they need to have the right plans in place, so won’t be holding the event this year and will look ahead to next year.
They’ll also shortly be announcing opportunities for people to get involved with the planning for the event.
