Another person charged as part of 'Operation Nightjar'
A Douglas man will be sentenced later this year after admitting supplying cocaine to undercover police officers.
Connor Schofield Shearman, of Heather Crescent, has been charged as part of ‘Operation Nightjar’ - an initiative targeting those involved in the supply of drugs in the nighttime economy.
On 19 October last year he was contacted by the officer on Snapchat; Shearman met him on Duke Street and handed over 0.5 grams of the Class A drug for £100.
The same officer contacted him again in November and the 31-year-old gave him another 0.6 grams - incidents the prosecutor called ‘street dealing’.
A social enquiry report has been ordered before Shearman is sentenced at the Court of General Gaol Delivery; he was bailed until his next appearance there on 3 May.
