Assault on police officers allleged
A 54-year old Douglas man has appeared in court (10 April), charged with affray and assaulting police officers.
Martin John Butler is from Hillcroft in the town.
The charges arise from an alleged incident in Douglas on Friday (7 April).
After hearing submissions from the defence and prosecution, Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes agreed to an ajournment until Tuesday 25 April 25th.
Mr Butler was granted bail in the sum of £500 with conditions, which include that he must not leave the Island.
