A Douglas woman whose son spent months undergoing treatment at Alder Hey hospital in Liverpool is praising the staff who saved his life.
Thirteen-year-old Rafal Adamiak was born with Down's Syndrome and diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia.
He successfully underwent chemotherapy then years later returned to Merseyside for hip reconstruction which required multi-surgeries.
He was recently discharged from Alder Hey and returned home to the Isle of Man.
