Scheme now due to finish by Easter 2021
Work on the Douglas Promenade Regeneration Scheme officially resumes today.
Staff returned to the site last week to carry out checks, with work having been suspended earlier this year due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Infrastructure Minister Ray Harmer confirmed changes have been made to the project during lockdown, with a view to finishing the work by Easter next year.
Further details about the updated schedule are due to be released in the next couple of weeks.
