Changed format for 2016
Douglas council has confirmed the date for the capital’s carnival later this year.
The carnival will take place on Sunday 17 July and start at 3pm – although this year organisers say there'll be a change to the format.
Town centre manager Michelle O’Malley says there'll be no afternoon activities or after-party but the parade will be scaled up with more categories and prizes for floats.
