44-year-old was nearly three times the legal limit
A Douglas woman will be sentenced next month after drink driving on Marine Drive.
Allison Medina Burns, of Hillberry Lakes, was witnessed travelling at speed into a car park before 'suddenly lurching forward' on the gravel track.
Emergency services were called to the scene, at 3.15pm on 17 January, after reports that a car had left the road and was in the grass verge.
The 44-year-old had consumed a bottle of prosecco before getting behind the wheel - an empty bottle was recovered from within the vehicle.
Subsequent tests showed she was nearly three times the legal limit.
At Douglas Courthouse Burns admitted drink driving and driving without a licence.
A social enquiry report will be prepared before she's sentenced - she's been bailed until her next appearance on 23 May.
