DESC hoping to meet with NASUWT again in early January
The Education Minister says she should 'never be in the room' when discussions are taking place over teachers' pay.
Julie Edge made the comments when asked about meetings her department has had with NASUWT who are planning more strike action in the new year.
DESC is working with the Manx Industrial Relations Service to arrange a further meeting with the union in early January.
Ms Edge maintains they have appropriate professionals to carry out such talks:
