Minister confirms plans to set up committee with union representatives
Work to set up a committee to give trade unions an opportunity to discuss health and safety in schools is ongoing.
Education Minister Julie Edge confirmed her department is setting up a body to ensure union representatives are consulted on safety.
It comes after Rushen MHK Dr Michelle Haywood asked whether unions are consulted on health and safety matters.
Ms Edge says she wants all education staff to be able to highlight issues:
Further sailings cancelled due to adverse weather
UK Government under scrutiny over Manx assisted dying legislation
Men jailed for £49,000 cocaine ferry importation plot
