Education Minister urges uni students to register for landing cards

Dr Allinson says pupils and parents should be prepared

The education minister has urged Manx university students to register to apply for landing cards, should the coronavirus situation in the UK get worse.

Speaking at the latest government media conference, Dr Alex Allinson reassured students that government never intends to shut the borders down, as it did in March.

Despite this, he says, parents and pupils should be prepared:

Once registered, people can then apply for landing cards, which must be completed within 48hrs of their return to the Island.
