Recruits to start in January next year
Officers recruited by the Isle of Man Constabulary from UK police forces will be 'Manxified' as part of their training.
That message from Sergeant Paul Kemp.
The constabulary is currently looking to replenish numbers by running two 'blended' recruitment drives - one for new student constables, the other for experienced officers.
New recruits are expected to start in January next year.
Sergeant Kemp says all candidates need to demonstrate their knowledge of the Island - but will be thrown into action early on:
