Manx woman reaches magnificent milestone
A Manx woman believed to be the oldest resident in the Island has celebrated her 105th birthday.
Elvira Clark marked the occasion with a surprise birthday party at the Ellan Vannin Residential Home in Douglas, where she is a resident, yesterday afternoon (Sunday).
Lieutenant Governor Sir Richard Gozney was among the well-wishers who attended.
She also received a birthday card from the Queen.
